My Culture My Technology

These art works were done as experimental art works. They are dealing with the theme of culture of Xhosa people that is being treatened by technology. Technology is a symbol of change and technology weakens things of valeu. Forinstance, now the are new circumsizing tools that are governmental or hospital tools. Now the traditional spear used to remove forskin will be forgoten. Now children sit down and play with their cellphone they do not sit around the fire and wait for their grandmother to tell them stories. But anyway the drawings are for sale for R950 each. Thank you, this is my first blog.
